Connecting TikTok Ads to Oryon
Oryon reads one TikTok Ads advertiser account once a day and shows spend, views, clicks, 2-second video views and conversions beside your web analytics, social, CRM and payment data. You pick the advertiser account after approving the connection on TikTok; the connection is read-only.

Availability
While TikTok's review of the Oryon app is pending, the TikTok Ads card can show Coming soon in some environments, with Connect unavailable. This guide describes the connection as it works once it is enabled.
Before you start
An Oryon workspace and the right role
TikTok Ads is connected from inside an existing Oryon workspace. Only a workspace owner or admin can connect, configure or disconnect a source; a member who opens Connections is sent back to the dashboard.
A TikTok Business Center with at least one ad account
TikTok Ads is connected through a TikTok Business Center that holds at least one ad (advertiser) account. Sign in to TikTok with the account that belongs to that Business Center: a TikTok login with no ad account cannot complete the connection, and signing in again with the same account fails the same way (see Troubleshooting).
One advertiser account to track
Oryon reads one advertiser account per workspace. You choose it after approving the connection, and nothing syncs until you have.
Connect TikTok Ads
Open Connections
In Oryon, choose Connections in the left sidebar. TikTok Ads appears in the Ads category of available connectors.
Choose Connect on TikTok Ads
You are sent to TikTok's permission screen. Sign in, then tick the ad account(s) you want to share with Oryon, and approve.
Back in Oryon, finish setting it up
Approving returns you to Oryon. The banner reads "TikTok Ads is connected. Choose what to track to finish setting it up." and the configuration dialog opens with "Connected. One step left: choose what to track." If you close it, the card shows Finish setup (or Configure) until an advertiser account is chosen — choose it to reopen the dialog.
Choose the advertiser account
Under Select TikTok Ads advertiser account, open "Choose an advertiser account…", pick the account you want Oryon to read, and choose Save. Saving starts the first sync.
Wait for the first sync
The first sync backfills up to 365 days of history, fetched from TikTok in spans of at most 30 days, so your charts and period comparisons work immediately. It runs in the background; until it finishes, the TikTok source page reads "Connected — waiting for the first sync to bring in data." with a Load data button that runs the sync right away instead of waiting for the nightly run. Until an advertiser account is chosen, that page instead reads "TikTok is connected — choose which advertiser account to track to start syncing." with a Set up button.
What Oryon reads
Oryon reads TikTok's daily advertising report for the chosen advertiser account.
| Figure | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Spend | Advertising spend that day |
| Views | Impressions that day |
| Clicks | Clicks that day |
| 2s video views | Video views of at least two seconds that day |
| Conversions | Conversions that day |
Days with no delivery
TikTok's daily report leaves out days on which the account delivered nothing. Oryon asked for those days and TikTok answered with nothing, so they are stored as zeros rather than left empty.
The TikTok page
TikTok Ads shares the TikTok source page with your organic TikTok account. The page's funnel — Views, Likes, Comments, Shares — is the organic one; the TikTok Ads section lists Spend, Clicks and 2s video views.
What is stored
Daily totals only — one number per metric per day. Oryon does not store campaigns, ads or audiences, and nothing identifying a person is retained.
Keeping data current
Automatic daily sync
Oryon re-reads the advertiser account once a day and refreshes a trailing window, so figures TikTok revises after the fact correct themselves without any action from you.
Refresh now
The TikTok source page has a Refresh button in its header. It runs the sync immediately and reports "Data refreshed." If an advertiser account has not been chosen yet, it says "Choose what to track for these sources first."; if it cannot run, "Couldn't refresh right now. Please try again in a moment."
Choosing a period
The period picker offers Months, Quarters, Years and a Custom range. A day with no data shows a dash, not a zero.
Tracking a different advertiser account
Open Connections, choose Configure on the TikTok Ads card, pick another account under Select TikTok Ads advertiser account and choose Save.
Disconnecting
Open Connections and choose Disconnect
Find the TikTok Ads card and choose Disconnect. This removes the connection and its credential from Oryon.
Remove Oryon on TikTok's side, if you wish
In TikTok Business Center, open Settings / Apps, find Oryon and remove it. If the connection still exists in Oryon, the next sync fails and the card shows Reconnect required.
Your history is kept
The daily totals already synced are kept, so the TikTok page keeps showing past periods and reconnecting later restores your history instead of starting over.
Troubleshooting
"We couldn't connect TikTok Ads, and nothing was saved."
The banner continues: "This usually means the TikTok account you signed in with has no TikTok Ads account. You need a TikTok Business Center with at least one ad account, and you have to tick that ad account on TikTok's permission screen. Signing in again with the same account will fail the same way." Sign in with the TikTok account that belongs to a Business Center holding at least one ad account, and tick that ad account on TikTok's permission screen.
The card shows Coming soon
TikTok's review of the Oryon app is still pending in this environment, so Connect is not offered yet. There is nothing to do on your side; this guide applies once the card is enabled.
"No TikTok Ads advertiser accounts found. Make sure you have access to at least one advertiser account."
The picker lists the advertiser accounts the connection's grant can reach, and found none. Make sure the TikTok account you signed in with has access to at least one advertiser account. If the account you need is missing, disconnect TikTok Ads, connect again and tick that ad account on TikTok's permission screen.
The card shows Finish setup
TikTok Ads is connected but no advertiser account has been chosen, so nothing syncs. The notification reads "Setup required — TikTok Ads is connected but needs a resource selected before it can sync." Choose Finish setup on the card, pick the account and Save.
Every day shows a dash or a zero
A zero on a day means the chosen advertiser account delivered nothing that day: TikTok reported no delivery and Oryon stored it as a zero. A dash means nothing was reported for that day at all. Check which advertiser account is chosen under Configure and, straight after connecting, use Load data or Refresh rather than waiting for the nightly sync.
The card shows Reconnect required
Access was revoked on TikTok's side — for example after Oryon was removed from the Business Center. Choose Reconnect and approve TikTok's permission screen again, ticking the ad account.

Next steps
Connecting Shopify to Oryon
Oryon reads your Shopify store once a day and shows orders, gross sales, refunds and net revenue beside your advertising, social, web analytics and CRM data. Oryon only ever reads from Shopify — it asks for read access to orders and never changes anything in your store.
Track forms and calls to action in Google Analytics
The Clarity & conversion scorecard reads a handful of GA4 events from your website. Until your site sends them, the forms and call-to-action indicators stay at “To set up”. Everything in this guide happens in Google Analytics or Tag Manager — there is nothing to change in Oryon for these indicators to fill.
