Account, plans & billing
What does the trial include and when am I charged?
The Individual and Team plans both start with a 14-day free trial. Starting it goes through a Stripe checkout that takes a card. Nothing is charged for 14 days, and you can cancel before then. The trial is offered once per account: a later subscription starts paid. Each plan card reads "Free for 14 days", then the price for your billing cycle, marked "+ taxes" — so the first charge lands when the 14 days end. Enterprise is quote-based and has no trial. See Choose a plan.
What is the difference between Individual, Team and Enterprise?
Individual includes the dashboard with its insights and home actions, AI charts, daily advice, the site audit, web vitals, reports with PDF download, and the Oryon Index. Team adds the Oryon Assistant, report export to PPTX and Google Slides, and creating more workspaces. Enterprise has everything in Team with a custom credit allowance and is reached through the "Talk to us about Enterprise" link under the plan cards. Prices are shown in the plan dialog, monthly or annual.
What are credits and what uses them?
Credits are the monthly allowance that pays for AI generations: 1,000 a month on Individual, 5,000 on Team. An assistant answer costs 60 credits, a generated chart 180, a report 500, and an extra web-vitals refresh 100. Insights, home actions, chart edits, the site audit and Oryon Index scans carry no fixed per-use price. The balance refills on your billing date; unused credits carry over, up to a balance of twice your monthly allowance after a refill. The credits counter in the top bar opens Buy credits: "Add a one-time batch of credits on top of your plan."
What happens when I run out of credits?
At 0 the app reads "You're out of credits — AI features are paused until you add credits. Your plan's credits refill on your next billing date." with a Buy credits button. Actions priced in credits — assistant answers, generated charts, reports — refuse to start until then, and so do Oryon Index scans and the site audit. The daily sync and your dashboard keep working. Only a workspace owner or admin can buy credits: "Only workspace owners and admins can purchase credits."
How do I cancel?
Open the Billing page — the Subscription pill in the top bar, shown to owners and admins only — and choose Cancel subscription. Stripe's own page asks you to confirm. A cancelled subscription stays active until the end of the period already paid for, and the Billing page shows the end date. Until then, Resume subscription on the same page undoes the cancellation. Manage billing on the same page opens the Stripe billing portal.
How do I delete my account?
In Settings, the "Danger zone" offers "Delete organization — Permanently delete this organization and all of its data." for one workspace, and "Delete my account — Permanently delete your account and every workspace you own." for everything. Account deletion asks you to type your own email to confirm. An active subscription is cancelled immediately, with no refund for time left on the period. The data is deleted within thirty days at most; see the trust page.
Can I have more than one workspace?
Yes, on Team and Enterprise: creating another workspace is a Team capability, and the Individual plan offers a single one. The workspace switcher in the sidebar lists yours under Switch workspace, with Create organization to add one. A subscription belongs to the person, not the workspace, and covers every workspace they own. Each workspace has its own connections, dashboard and members, and sees only its own data. Invite colleagues from Settings → Members with Invite a member.
Your data & connections
Does Oryon change anything in my tools?
No. Every connection is read-only: Oryon never creates, edits or deletes anything in a connected tool. You approve the access on the tool's own site, and you can revoke it there at any time. The one exception is exporting a report to Google Slides, which you ask for explicitly and which touches only the files Oryon itself created. Each Data sources guide lists exactly what its tool shares.
What does Oryon store?
From the tools in these guides, Oryon stores daily totals only — one number per metric per day, such as sessions, spend or won revenue — not the underlying records, and nothing identifying a person. The Oryon Index and a connected Google Business profile also keep the public reviews and mentions they find, and social sources keep a per-post record (caption, link, thumbnail) for the top-posts view. The access token for each connected tool is held so the next sync can run, and it is deleted the moment you disconnect. See What Oryon reads in the Google guide for an example, and the trust page for the full picture.
How often is data refreshed?
Once a day, automatically, for every connected source. The very first sync of a connection backfills up to 365 days of history, so period comparisons work from the start. Each source page has a Refresh button in its header when you want today's figures now. The Google guide describes what a refresh reports.
Why does a day show a dash?
A dash means the day has not been stored: it has not been synced yet, or the tool had no data for it. It is not a zero. The ad platforms — Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Facebook Ads — are the exception: a day with no delivery is stored as an explicit 0, because "nothing was spent" is a real reading. A new connection shows dashes until its first sync finishes.
Who can connect or disconnect a source?
Every workspace has three roles: Owner, Admin and Member. Only an owner or admin can connect, configure or disconnect a source; a member who opens Connections is sent back to the dashboard. Buying credits and the Billing page are owner-and-admin only as well. One account on a tool can be connected to one Oryon account at a time; a second attempt reads "That {name} account is already connected to a different Oryon account. Nothing was saved."
What happens to my history when I disconnect?
Choose Disconnect on the source's card in Connections. The connection and its credential are deleted immediately, and no further data is retrieved. The daily totals already synced are kept, so the source page keeps showing past periods and reconnecting later restores your history instead of starting over. To remove the data too, delete the workspace from Settings. The Google guide walks through a disconnect.
Where is my data hosted?
The platform and its database run on Google Cloud in the Montréal region (northamerica-northeast1), Canada. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Some providers process data outside Canada, primarily in the United States — OpenAI generates the AI analyses, Stripe handles payments — and your data is not used to train models. The trust page names the main providers and the AI policy.
Dashboard, Oryon Index, reports & assistant
What do the home tiles measure?
Three tiles cover the "Last 30 days", compared "vs previous 30 days"; the ? beside each name explains it. Visibility adds up how many times your content was seen across every connected source — pages viewed on your site, views of your social posts, and times your ads were shown. Leads counts "New contacts created in your CRM over the last 30 days." Ad spend is "What you spent on ads over the last 30 days, across Google Ads, Meta Ads and TikTok Ads." See Your first dashboard. The Clarity & conversion scorecard (Individual and up) reads the GA4 events described in Track forms and calls to action in Google Analytics.
What is the Oryon Index?
"Your Oryon Index measures how easy your brand is to find and trust online, out of 100." It is built from five things, each scored out of 100: "Do customers find you?", "Are you visible online?", "Are you present where people look?", "Is your website clear?" and "Is your content working?". On the first visit the page reads "No index yet" and asks you to run a first scan. Scans are included from the Individual plan up, with no fixed credit price.
How is a report made and what does it cost?
Open Reports in the sidebar: "Pick a template to start your report, or start from scratch." — Monthly overview, Campaign analysis or a Blank report — then pick the data sources it draws on. Generating a report costs 500 credits. Viewing it, sharing it and the PDF are included from Individual. Download PPTX and export to Google Slides need Team; the Slides export uses the Drive permission you granted when connecting Google, which is why that permission appears on Google's consent screen.
What can the assistant answer, and who has it?
Oryon Assistant is "A data-grounded AI assistant for your marketing performance questions." It answers about the sources you have connected, from the figures Oryon has stored: "I am Oryon. Ask me anything about your connected marketing data, and I will answer using your current metrics." Each answer costs 60 credits. It is part of the Team and Enterprise plans; on Individual the page reads "The Oryon assistant is on the Team plan" and offers Upgrade to Team to owners and admins.
