Granting HubSpot Commerce Hub access
Oryon asks for three optional HubSpot permissions covering invoices, subscriptions and line items. Your portal has not granted them, so those metrics will stay empty. Everything else keeps working normally. This page explains why, and how to grant them.

What this affects
Metrics that stay empty
Invoiced amount, collected amount, outstanding amount, line-item revenue, monthly recurring revenue, and the new, cancelled and active subscription counts.
Metrics that keep working
New contacts, new deals, pipeline value, closed-won revenue, form submissions and marketing email engagement. These come from permissions your portal has already granted.
The three permissions
crm.objects.invoices.read, crm.objects.subscriptions.read and crm.objects.line_items.read. Oryon requests them as optional, which is why your connection succeeded without them instead of failing outright.
Work out which case applies to you
Check whether your portal has Commerce Hub
Open Commerce from HubSpot's main navigation. If you can see invoices, payments and subscriptions there, your portal has Commerce Hub and the permissions can be granted — continue to the next section. If Commerce is missing or invites you to upgrade, these objects do not exist in your portal, there is nothing to grant, and the metrics will stay empty until Commerce Hub is added.
Check whether an administrator has to approve Oryon
If your portal does have Commerce Hub and the permissions were still not granted, your account restricts which apps may read which data. Only a user with the Super Admin role can change that. If you are not a super admin, send them this page.
Approve the permissions in HubSpot
Sign in as a super admin
App permissions can only be changed by a user with the Super Admin role. Being the account owner or a billing admin is not sufficient.
Open your account's app settings
From the gear icon in the top right, go to Integrations, then Connected Apps, and select Oryon Data. If your account uses app governance, app approvals live in the same Integrations area. HubSpot's own knowledge base article "Manage access to apps" has the current screens if the labels differ from these.
Approve all three Commerce Hub permissions
Grant access to invoices, subscriptions and line items. Approving only some of them leaves the warning in place: Oryon needs all three before the Commerce metrics can be built.
Save the change
The approval applies to the account, so anyone who reconnects afterwards inherits it. You do not need to repeat this for each user.
Reconnect Oryon
Open Connections in Oryon
An existing connection keeps the permissions it was granted when it was created. Approving them in HubSpot does not widen a connection that already exists, so it has to be made again.
Disconnect HubSpot
Select Disconnect on the HubSpot card. Your history is kept: disconnecting removes the stored credentials, not the totals Oryon has already synced.
Connect again and approve
Select Connect and complete HubSpot's consent screen. It now includes invoices, subscriptions and line items.
Refresh the data
Open the HubSpot page and select Refresh. Oryon pulls the last 90 days straight away rather than waiting for the nightly sync.
If the metrics are still empty
The warning is still on the connection card
The new grant still lacks at least one of the three permissions. Check that all three were approved, not only invoices, then disconnect and connect once more.
The warning is gone but the tiles show nothing
The permissions are in place and your portal simply has no invoices, subscriptions or line items in the period shown. Widen the date range at the top of the page.
Revenue does not match what you expected
Oryon's revenue figure uses closed-won deal revenue when your pipeline reports it, and falls back to collected invoice amounts when it does not. The two measure the same money in different places, so they rarely agree exactly.
Still stuck?
Write to support@oryondata.com with your HubSpot portal ID and we will tell you exactly which permissions your connection currently holds.
Connecting HubSpot to Oryon
Oryon reads your HubSpot portal once a day and shows contacts, deals, pipeline value and revenue beside your advertising, social, web analytics and payment data. The connection is read-only: Oryon never creates, changes or deletes anything in your portal.
Revenue shows zero when deals are paid
Your HubSpot page shows deals and pipeline value, but revenue stays empty. Almost always this means the pipeline stage you use for paid deals is not configured as a closed-won stage, so nothing in your portal counts as won revenue yet.
